We ship small metal tools a long way. These are the promises that come with them. They are written narrowly on purpose — we would rather promise less and keep it than promise two years of everything and argue with you later.
The size guarantee
Espresso baskets are a mess of numbers: 51, 53, 53.3, 54, 58, 58.5. A 58 mm basket is not 58 mm on the inside, and a Breville portafilter that measures 54 mm takes a 53 mm tamper. It is not your job to know that.
Tell us what machine you have — through the fit finder on any product page, or by emailing us a photo at contact@cremakit.com — and we will tell you the size you need. If it still turns out wrong when it arrives, message us within 30 days and we will send the correct size at our cost. We will tell you then whether we need the first one back; often we don't.
Twelve-month warranty
Every CremaKit tool is covered for twelve months from the day it arrives against manufacturing faults: a needle that bends in normal use, a magnet that works loose, a handle that comes away from its base, a stainless part that rusts, a finish that flakes. Send a photo with your order number and we will replace it or refund it. No receipt gymnastics — the order number is enough.
What it does not cover: drops and knocks, dishwasher damage where the product page says hand wash, and the normal cosmetic marks of daily use. Wear parts — silicone mats and pads, brush bristles, WDT needles — are covered for three months. This is a promise that the tool was made properly, not insurance against the years ahead.
It sits on top of your statutory rights rather than replacing them. UK and EU consumer law gives you more than this in some situations; where it does, that is what applies.
Returns
Thirty days from delivery, on unused items in their original packaging. UK customers also have the statutory 14-day right to cancel, which runs alongside this. If something arrives damaged, wrong or faulty, we fix it at our cost — that is separate from the return policy and always has been.
Where your order ships from
CremaKit is run from the Netherlands and our stock ships from our fulfilment partner's warehouse in China, tracked door to door. Most stores in this category do the same and do not say so. Our typical times are 5–8 working days to the United Kingdom, 6–10 to Canada and 8–15 to Australia, after 1–3 working days of dispatch. If your order is going to be slower than that, we would rather email you than let you wonder.
